A vice president with UBS in New York, Gregory Shanaphy analyzes and develops financial planning strategies for his clients. He has a background in business, estate planning, investments and law. Gregory Shanaphy is also a member of the Irish Business Organization of New York (IBO), which aims to assist in the advancement of the Irish business community.
The IBO, founded in 1973, has sought to foster its members’ business interests through networking opportunities, meetings, discussions, seminars, lectures, social events, and a variety of programs.
One of the upcoming summer events that the IBO contributes to is the Kids Celtic Summer Club at the Aisling Irish Heritage Center in Yonkers, New York. This camp exposes children to Irish culture through arts and crafts and fun activities, which incorporate Irish songs, dances, lore and drama. Initial camps will run Monday through Friday, beginning July 11, and ending August 1. Additional camps may run in August, as well.
